As part of the ‘Language in Times of War and Conflict’ symposium, organised by the ANDC and held at the ANU, a book launch for Memory and the Wars on Terror: Australian and British Perspectives (Palgrave Macmillan 2017) was held at MUSE, Kingston. The book was edited by Jessica Gildersleeve and Richard Gehrmann, and featured chapters by ANU authors Frank Bongiorno and Amanda Laugesen. The book was launched by Professor Bruce Scates from the School of History.
