Oliver Kozlarek is a renowned academic at the intersection of philosophy, sociology and cultural studies. Since 2001, he has been a professor at the Institute of Philosophy at Universidad Michoacana in Morelia (Mexico). Since 2017, he is also a Lecturer at the University of Vechta in Germany. His expertise includes European and Latin American traditions of cultural theory and social thought with a special focus on Germany and Mexico. His book Modernity as World Consciousness outlines a social theory based on dialogues between scholarship from Europe and Latin America
