Introduction to qualitative research (Online)
This introductory workshop is designed for health consumers but also welcomes health students and clinicians interested in acquiring skills and conducting qualitative research.
During the workshop, we will explore what qualitative research is and why it is needed, as well as the role of the researcher in qualitative studies. Delve into various methods of data collection, including interviews, focus groups, document analysis, observations, and case studies. Learn about various methods of data analysis, such as content analysis, thematic analysis, discourse analysis, and software-assisted analysis. Gain an insights into the important role that health consumers can play in qualitative research, from planning and collecting data to interpreting and disseminating findings.
