The ring is in a solid hoop, swollen to the underside (Fractured at one point and mended); the bezel is oval and held at each side by a knot. The decoration of the bezel is at a level below the outer border and comprises a mirrored spiraliform design set with a frame of fine rope-patterns and highlighted with a globule of gold to each side.

Greek silver ring

The ring is in a solid hoop, swollen to the underside (Fractured at one point and mended); the bezel is oval and held at each side by a knot. The decoration of the bezel is at a level below the outer border and comprises a mirrored spiraliform design set with a frame of fine rope-patterns and highlighted with a globule of gold to each side.
Probably fifth to fourth century BC. Perhaps of North Greek or Thracian manufacture.
