From Knossos; presented by the Trustees of the British Museum. Ht ca 3.5cm; diam. ca 6.5cm.
A simple dish of somewhat carinated form with a flat cut-away base. Smooth pale orange-buff clay with small dark red inclusions. The vase is undecorated although the excavators took the wheelmarks on the inside of such dishes as deliberate.
