Sicilian Plain Dish

From the Woite Collection; probably from the area of Gela, Sicily. Ht 3cm; diam. 13.6cm.

Intact. Cream-buff clay. Out-turned rim; the base somewhat concave.

The dish has a simple form with slight carination of the wall. Perhaps early third century BC.
