Small Sicilian Dish

Ht 2.1cm; diam. 5.4cm.

Orange clay; brown to black paint washed all over, worn.

These three are smaller than 1966.16-19 and have a tall vertical foot that is not set off from the bowl. They are doubtless later, perhaps of the earlier half of the third century BC. Compare Notizie degli Scavi di Antichità, Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei 1955, 324 fig. 37, 5, from Lentini.
