Intact but the surface is worn and incrusted. Pale, greyish-cream clay with fine dark inclusions. Everted lip, flat on the upper face. Horizontal handles of circular section, vertically inclined, on the shoulder. There is a knob in the centre of the shoulder on each side. Flat base, crudely finished at the bottom of the wall. Unpainted.

Stamnoid jar

Intact but the surface is worn and incrusted. Pale, greyish-cream clay with fine dark inclusions. Everted lip, flat on the upper face. Horizontal handles of circular section, vertically inclined, on the shoulder. There is a knob in the centre of the shoulder on each side. Flat base, crudely finished at the bottom of the wall. Unpainted.

Sagona notes that such pieces are not commonly found in Maltese tombs; she puts it tentatively in Phases V-VI (Late Hellenistic to Roman).
