Congratulations to Dr Francesco De Toni, who has recently been awarded, i) RSHA Conference, Symposia and Workshop Grant, and ii) ANU Early Career Researcher Travel Grant. These grants enable him to present a paper, ‘Rapport building and self-management among heart-failure patients: a pragmatic analysis’, to improve communication, health literacy and patient empowerment among patients with heart failure, and chair a panel at the 19th International Pragmatics Conference (IPC), hosted by the University of Queensland, 22-27 June 2025.
