This new Australian combined dictionary and thesaurus was produced at the Australian National Dictionary Centre, and combines two books in one. The dictionary entries are on the top part of each page, with corresponding thesaurus entries on the bottom part of each page.

This compact dictionary/thesaurus, with its hardwearing vinyl cover, is the ideal reference text to carry around in a work bag or travel bag, to keep at a workstation, to use for crosswords, or to help vary and sharpen up writing styles. Careful attention has been paid to the Australian content, with Australian words and meanings labelled Aust.
