Are you interested in immersing yourself in a different culture as part of your studies?
We encourage our students to pursue the exciting opportunities available to study overseas at ANU partner universities, and join in field trips as part of our classics and ancient history, and language programs.
Studying overseas as part of your degree provides personal and academic rewards, adding value to your ANU experience. Immersing yourself in another society while learning the language and gaining knowledge can open and diversify your future career options.
Students who have previously taken part in the program have reported that as a result of their exchange, they have rapidly improved their language skills and have grown personally, socially and academically. Through the experience, they have also built global networks of friends.
Through programs offered at this school you will have the opportunity to:
- Study French in Canada, New Caledonia, France, French Polynesia or Switzerland.
- Study German in Austria or Germany
- Study Italian in Italy
- Study Spanish in Latin America or Spain
From time to time, we arrange field trips to Greece, Italy and Turkey for classics and ancient history students and to Paris for those studying French.
