Amani holds a BA in English for Specific Purposes (ESP) and an MA in Applied Linguistics (Discourse Analysis) from Jordan (JUST). She worked as a lecturer at Majma'ah university, KSA.
Supervisor: Dr. Ksenia Gnevsheva
The focus of her PhD thesis is on the influence of various experiential and cognitive factors, most importantly the native dialect background, on the production and perception of English consonant clusters by Arabic L1 speakers (Jordanian and Egyptian) who are L2 speakers of English in Australia.
