Charbel has a diverse background in commercial, public and not-for-profit sectors. He has demonstrated capabilities in providing linguistic solutions in large-scale artificial intelligence programs for global-tech giants.

His PhD project examines (morpho)syntactic change within the nominal paradigm of Syriac, a late dialect of Aramaic. His research focus is on the reanalysis of grammatical definiteness features.
