Studying German at the ANU was a fantastic experience where I had the privilege of learning the language from excellent teachers. The courses offered covered a broad range of topics including linguistics, history and politics. I was also able to study twice on exchange at leading German universities. My German language skills have been essential in gaining employment in both the public and private sectors where I currently work with sustainability issues for one of Germany's largest companies. I strongly recommend studying Languages at the ANU to give your degree an international component which will assist you in your future career.
