Megan is a primary school teacher with over a decade's experience working in teaching and leadership positions in the Northern Territory's Central Desert, Barkly Region and Top End. Her research is guided by participatory methods and documents Murrinhpatha language maintenance education in the early years at OLSH School Wadeye. Megan's interests in applied linguistics and education include language maintenance, social literacy practices, EALD teaching and learning, language planning and policy and supporting access to first language learning opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students.
