Shubo Li

Shubo is a PhD candidate in Linguistics in the School of Literature, Languages and Linguistics within the College of Arts and Social Sciences at the Australian National University. She holds a BA(Hons) in Linguistics from the Australian National University and completed part of her BA at Macquarie University.
Her research interests include language documentation and experimental phonetics, and she is especially interested in languages of the Pacific and Africa. Currently, she is working on the phonetics and phonology of Nakanamanga, an Oceanic language of Vanuatu. For her Honours research, she investigated the sound system of Kufo, a Kadu language of Sudan.
